Serving Clayton Valley
Clayton Valley is about 16 miles southwest via SR-4 and Kirker Pass Road from our Antioch shop, and we serve all of it, including Clayton Valley Highlands, Crystyl Ranch and Clayton Valley Charter High School. Clayton Valley is part of Concord, so HVAC replacements here are permitted through the City of Concord's Virtual Permit Center, not the City of Clayton. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Clayton Valley customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Do I need a permit to replace my AC in Clayton Valley?
Yes. Replacing an AC, furnace or heat pump in California requires a mechanical permit - in Clayton Valley that comes from the City of Concord Building Division. Most replacements also need Title 24 duct leakage testing verified by a third-party HERS rater. We pull the permit and coordinate the inspection.
How much does a new AC cost in Clayton Valley?
It depends on the size of the home, the type of system, the efficiency level and the condition of your ductwork. We give you a written quote after looking at the house, with more than one option.
Are there rebates for a new system in Clayton Valley?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Clayton Valley homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Clayton Valley customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
