HVAC Maintenance Plan for Contra Costa Homes

Two tune-ups a year, reminders, priority booking

Our HVAC maintenance plan puts your heating and cooling on a schedule so you don't have to remember it. The plan covers two tune-ups a year, an AC visit in spring and a furnace or heat pump visit in fall, with a reminder from our office when each one is due. Plan members also get priority scheduling when something breaks. It suits homeowners, landlords with rentals and property managers with several systems.

Why choose Blue Star

The plan is built around how systems fail here: AC parts wear out in East County heat, and furnaces that sit all summer act up on the first cold night. Each visit is a full tune-up with the same checks and cleaning as our one-time service, and we keep notes on your equipment so we can track wear from year to year. Repairs are always quoted first, and you decide. Call us for current plan terms.

Colton was great. He found the problem right away and did a temporary fix to get my a/c running until he could get the right part ordered. He also made sure every inside was working well.

Questions we hear

What does the HVAC maintenance plan include?

Two scheduled tune-ups a year: one for cooling in spring and one for heating in fall. Each visit covers coil cleaning and electrical and refrigerant checks on the AC, and burner, flame, safety and venting checks on the furnace, plus filter, drain and thermostat checks. We send a reminder when each visit is due, and members get priority scheduling for repairs. Call us for current plan details.

Is an HVAC maintenance plan worth it?

It is worth it if you would otherwise skip tune-ups. Most of the value comes from the visits themselves: a cleaned, checked system breaks down less, runs more efficiently and lasts longer. The plan makes sure the visits happen on time, and priority scheduling helps when everyone's AC is failing in the same July heat wave. If you already book tune-ups faithfully, ask us how the plan compares.

What does priority scheduling mean?

When you call with a problem, plan members move ahead of non-member calls on our schedule. It doesn't promise a set arrival time, since a heat wave can fill every day, but members are booked first. Priority applies to repair calls on the equipment covered by your plan, and we explain exactly how it works when you sign up.

Can landlords and property managers put several units on one plan?

Yes. We can cover several rental homes or every system at an apartment complex under one plan, with visits scheduled around tenants and a record of what we found at each unit. That makes it easier to budget for replacements and keep tenants comfortable. Tell us how many units you have and what equipment is in them, and we will put a plan together.

Does a maintenance plan help with my equipment warranty?

It can. Most manufacturer warranties require that the equipment be installed and maintained properly, and some ask for proof of regular service when you file a claim. A plan gives you dated records of each tune-up. Read your own warranty terms, since requirements differ by brand, and we can help you find your equipment's warranty information when we visit.
