Serving Northgate
From our Antioch shop on Wilbur Avenue, Northgate is about 21 miles southwest via Kirker Pass Road and Ygnacio Valley Road, and we cover the whole area, including Northgate High School, Foothill Middle School, Walnut Acres Elementary and Shell Ridge Open Space. Northgate is inside Walnut Creek, so HVAC changeouts need a city permit filed online, furnace replacements are handled over the counter, and most jobs are homeowner decisions rather than HOA work. A heat pump makes the most sense in Northgate when an aging AC and furnace are both due, since one system replaces both. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Northgate customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Is a heat pump worth it in Northgate?
Hot summers and mild winters suit heat pumps well. One system handles cooling and heating, and the Bay Area Air District's zero-NOx standard for new furnaces, scheduled for 2029, is pushing new installs toward heat pumps.
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. Many homes can add a heat pump on the existing panel; older 100-amp panels may need an upgrade. We check during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
Are there heat pump rebates in Northgate?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Northgate homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Northgate customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
