Serving Rossmoor
Rossmoor is about 28 miles southwest via I-680 and Rossmoor Parkway from our Antioch shop, and we serve all of it, including First Walnut Creek Mutual, Dollar Clubhouse, Event Center and Gateway Complex. Every heating or air-conditioning alteration or replacement in Rossmoor needs an alteration permit from the Mutual Operations Division, and a City of Walnut Creek building permit may also be required. A heat pump makes the most sense in Rossmoor when an aging AC and furnace are both due, since one system replaces both. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Rossmoor customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Is a heat pump worth it in Rossmoor?
Hot summers and mild winters suit heat pumps well. One system handles cooling and heating, and the Bay Area Air District's zero-NOx standard for new furnaces, scheduled for 2029, is pushing new installs toward heat pumps.
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. Many homes can add a heat pump on the existing panel; older 100-amp panels may need an upgrade. We check during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
Are there heat pump rebates in Rossmoor?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Rossmoor homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Rossmoor customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
