Serving Saranap
Saranap is about 26 miles southwest via I-680 and Olympic Boulevard from our Antioch shop, and we serve all of it, including Olympic Boulevard, Boulevard Way, Tice Valley Boulevard and Saranap Avenue. Saranap is unincorporated, so even with a Walnut Creek mailing address, HVAC permits come from Contra Costa County's Building Inspection Division, not the City of Walnut Creek. A heat pump makes the most sense in Saranap when an aging AC and furnace are both due, since one system replaces both. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Saranap customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Questions before you call
Is a heat pump worth it in Saranap?
Hot summers and mild winters suit heat pumps well. One system handles cooling and heating, and the Bay Area Air District's zero-NOx standard for new furnaces, scheduled for 2029, is pushing new installs toward heat pumps.
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. Many homes can add a heat pump on the existing panel; older 100-amp panels may need an upgrade. We check during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
Are there heat pump rebates in Saranap?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Saranap homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Saranap customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
