Serving Bay Point
From our Antioch shop on Wilbur Avenue, Bay Point is about 15 miles west via SR 160 and SR 4, and we cover the whole area, including Shore Acres, Ambrose Park and Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station area. Bay Point shares the 94565 ZIP with Pittsburg but is unincorporated, so we pull replacement permits through Contra Costa County Building Inspection in Martinez, not the City of Pittsburg. A heat pump makes the most sense in Bay Point when an aging AC and furnace are both due, since one system replaces both. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Bay Point customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Questions before you call
Is a heat pump worth it in Bay Point?
Hot summers and mild winters suit heat pumps well. One system handles cooling and heating, and the Bay Area Air District's zero-NOx standard for new furnaces, scheduled for 2029, is pushing new installs toward heat pumps.
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. Many homes can add a heat pump on the existing panel; older 100-amp panels may need an upgrade. We check during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
Are there heat pump rebates in Bay Point?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Bay Point homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Bay Point customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
