Serving Discovery Bay
We serve every part of Discovery Bay, including Discovery Bay Country Club, Ravenswood and Discovery Bay Marina - it's about 17 miles southeast via SR 160 and SR 4 from our Antioch shop. Discovery Bay is unincorporated, so replacement permits go through Contra Costa County Building Inspection, not the Town of Discovery Bay CSD, and we place new outdoor units with the water and docks in mind. A heat pump makes the most sense in Discovery Bay when an aging AC and furnace are both due, since one system replaces both. Many statewide heat pump rebates are closed for 2026, so when we quote we check what's still open for your address, such as MCE's home energy programs for Discovery Bay customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program.

Questions before you call
Is a heat pump worth it in Discovery Bay?
Hot summers and mild winters suit heat pumps well. One system handles cooling and heating, and the Bay Area Air District's zero-NOx standard for new furnaces, scheduled for 2029, is pushing new installs toward heat pumps.
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?
Sometimes. Many homes can add a heat pump on the existing panel; older 100-amp panels may need an upgrade. We check during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
Are there heat pump rebates in Discovery Bay?
Some, but fewer than before. TECH Clean California and California's HEEHRA heat pump rebates are fully reserved, and the federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after 2025. What's left for Discovery Bay homes is mainly MCE's home energy programs for Discovery Bay customers and BayREN's income-qualified EASE Home program. Programs change often, so we check what's open for your address when we quote.
